By accessing or using the Femora mobile application and related services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Femora is a period and menstrual cycle tracking application that provides cycle tracking, period predictions, symptom logging, and health insights. The Service is designed for informational and personal wellness purposes only.
Important: Femora is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The predictions, insights, and information provided by the Service should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider with questions about your health.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
You may register using an email address and password, or through Google or Apple sign-in. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Create multiple accounts for deceptive or abusive purposes
- Share your account credentials with others or allow others to access your account
5. Health Information Disclaimer
The Service provides cycle predictions and health insights based on the data you log. These predictions are estimates based on statistical models and may not be accurate for every individual.
Specifically, you acknowledge that:
- Cycle predictions are not guaranteed to be accurate and should not be relied upon for contraception or fertility planning
- The Service does not diagnose medical conditions or replace professional healthcare
- You should seek medical attention for any health concerns, irregularities, or symptoms that worry you
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Femora and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
7. User Data
You retain ownership of all health data you log into the Service. You grant Femora a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. Our collection and use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain the Service's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
9. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the app settings. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All data associated with your account will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Femora shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service
- Any inaccuracy in cycle predictions or health-related information
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Any other matter relating to the Service
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Femora and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, providing additional notice within the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Femora operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
